A widower Liam cannot come to turns of losing his wife and falls into a dark state of despair. Visions of her haunt him during days and nights. He turns to drinking, which affects his relationship with his daughter. Slowly, Liam becomes a dark and inward person. With friend's help, he gets in touch with a medium who can help Liam communicate with his wife. A 40-day ceremony starts, culminating on the last night when spirits are awaken and Liam and Sophie’s lives come in danger. Is Liam able to fight off the bad spirits and say the final goodbye to his wife...?
