Set in during WW1 Pavol a Slovak Diserter (Stephen Samson)manages to get to the Scottish wilderness. He comes across an old farmhouse and asks for work. The Farmer a drunk (James Bryce)beats his son and has Pavol work the farm. Every Night the farm is under attack by a large beast. Pavol has flashbacks of the front - line until the night he has to face the beast.
