Through this technique we see the live unfolding of a narrative depicting the member of an ailing dynasty attempting to assert himself as its leader by carrying out a pre-planned moment of orchestrated violence. This classic tale of fading pride and failing leadership is underpinned by the fact that the characters involved are modern day council estate petty gang members.
