A criminal freshly released from jail returns home to find his life in danger from a crime he never commited

A career criminal returns home from jail and finds himself harassed by a corrupt detective still keen to find the loot from the criminal's final robbery. The criminal is forced to take part in a kidnapping, which spirals out of control and brings him further into conflict with the detective.
