A drama about a young girls struggle to face her past

In the early 1960's, 14 year old Annie is confronted with her traumatic past when her elder sister Margaret is reintroduced to the family after spending two years in a mental institution. Set on the sweeping southern British costal line, Chalk investigates the unrest lying beneath each character's skin as Annie struggles to find her place in a world haunted by the ghosts of their past.
