Couple driven to madness by cloning children

After starting work for a large fertilizer company Alec settles his family locally in the country for an idyllic life. However, his pregnant wife soon seems ill at ease and not everything is right with the pregnancy. The locals also appear to be behaving very strangely, studying the couple in a way that makes them even more uncomfortable. When the child is born, surprised is the father to find that another one is born that never showed up on any scan, but not just that, a third appears as well! Now things start taking a turn for the worse. His wife seems to be loosing her mind, her aggression is growing and it finally appears that something surreal is occurring. Cloning. Is it that his work at the plant has caused it? What's to be done now?
