A glamorous famous stage star entwines her life with that of a homeless girl.
A surrealistic exploration of the contemporary obssession with fame and celebrity just for the sake of it. Contrasting the life of a famous stage star with that of a homeless girl who wanders through London's Theatre Land fantasizing about becoming the star Lucinda Wallace and swapping her poverty and depression for what she sees as the wonderful life of the star. The star in turn is suicidal because she cannot live up to her own fame. Does all this really happen? Or is the whole dual story really just the crazed images flicking through the mind of the comatose singer after her suicide attempt?
