Benjamin Booth inherits his father's taxidermy shop. Knowing nothing about taxidermy he hires the mysterious Ambidextrous Bentley, an expert in crypto-taxidermy-zoology - the study and stuffing of mythical creatures, to assist him in making the shop famous again. Unbeknownst to Booth, Ambdiextrous Bentley has a scheme of his own.
