Dark Clouds Of London’ tells the epic story of one man’s rise and fall as he attempts to redefine Mafia. It follows in the London-set footsteps of classic British gangster film The Long Good Friday’. It has two lead characters bonded on different sides of the law (Heat), internal corruption (LA Confidential) and puts a fresh faced action-packed spin on Mafia family dramas like the ‘The Godfather’ and ‘The Sopranos‘ .The film follows the classic crime genre triangle where ‘gangster-family-drama’ are forever connected, where one cannot escape their fate which destiny has preordained for them. Redemption is the hardest step to make… Premise: An unlikely childhood friendship between a shy Michael Vizzini and an adventurous London lad Paul Adams is formed on the harsh streets of 70′s London. As the two naive youths look out for one another like brothers they become embroiled in a world of sex, drugs and crime. Hot headed Paul craves excitement and riches. Michael quieter, more naturally gifted, attempts to look out for them both. After a criminal enterprise on New Years Eve1979 leads to them holding a suitcase of cocaine and bagful of money, tragedy strikes that tears their friendship apart and separates them for the next fifteen years. Fifteen years later, Michael Vizzini is now a feared crime lord, obsessed with protecting those he loves, number one on the police’s hit-list. Paul becomes a top police detective, hell-bent on destroying the drug trade, a hero to the public. When Paul returns to his old haunts as an infamous police officer, the old friendship will be rekindled and tested once more. As their two worlds collide over a storm ridden London they must come together once more to battle the same dangerous foe…
