A lonely woman falls foul of her imagination

A mature woman who lives on her own in a remote farmhouse is quizzed by a double glazing salesman as she returns from shopping. It is her birthday but it seems that family and friends are unable for various reasons to come and see her. Hearing unaccountable noises in the house she is terrified, calls the police. Armed with a kitchen knife she starts to investigate. About to enter the last room, she is aware of something behind her and lashes out with the knife, when the door opens - the missing family and friends have organized a surprise party. They look with horror at the man lying on the floor in a pool of blood
