Jayne joins in the anti-capitalism protest after losing her city job whilst neglecting her boyfriend Tom who is planning the perfect proposal
Twenty-something Jayne lives a happy life in London with her boyfriend Tom, a bicycle shop owner who is ready to settle down with Jayne. But as the recession hits Great Britain, Jayne loses her job as an advertising executive. For a joke, Tom convinces Jayne to get in touch with Jess, a free spirited girl who runs a support group for people affected by the recession. Jayne attends and soon finds herself joining the anti-capitalism protests. Jayne gets too caught up in the world and its problems as she starts to neglect her relationship with Tom, who is meanwhile planning the perfect proposal
