An asylum seeker takes refuge in the UK and is forced to face his insecurities as he tries to integrate himself into this new society.

The story of Hassan, a Sudanese film maker who is forced to flee his home country and seeks asylum in the UK. Struggling with nightmares and homesickness, he seeks to learn more English in order to try and integrate into this new society. Here he develops closeness with Israeli born, English woman Avagail. Hassan is confronted by housemate Saif Al Islama a fellow asylum seeker who aggressively questions Hassan’s lifestyle choices, forcing him to reflect on leaving his country.
