Intimate Prison Drama

As Leona, a young offender, is nearing her hearing for release, being signed up for 'music therapy,' when she would have opted for Karate, is not a thrilling prospect. Teaching the rudiments of double-bass playing to a disaffected prisoner on a short-term contract is a challenging prospect to Ivan, who is facing difficulties of his own. Nevertheless, progress does begin to be a real possibility; but as Ivan gains Denise's trust and respect and a relationship is forged, the tensions between Leona and one of the screws, Denise, escalate - leaving her future hanging in the balance.
