Go Lassie Go

Drugs and dregs of Arbroath.

"Go, Lassie, Go," an independent feature-length film which explores the interrelated themes of alienation, loneliness and drug addiction within Scottish communities, the nature of self-destruction and whether it is a pre-determined trait destined to play out for those afflicted, or one which lies within each of us and which can ultimately be conquered. Synopsis: Upon learning of the death of his younger brother to a heroin overdose, Ethan Muir, a straightforward city professional living a comfortable, hollow life, travels to the small Scottish seaside town to settle his brother's affairs and understand "why?". In doing so Ethan finds himself enamored by new friendships and the camaraderie of people living seemingly simpler lives, but lives which are held together by the vices used to release their angst. As Ethan dives in head first, and as his life tumbles willingly out of control, he must ask himself when to push the brakes and if he even wants to; no-one else is.
