Fiction or insanity?

Paulo is a bureaucrat in a big company. Frustrated in his juvenile ideals, he finds himself absent of any existential meaning. Growing mad and unexpectedly, he kills his wife and son but withholds from committing suicide. He doesn't know if everything actually happened or if it is just a symbolic delirious between his insanity and the mechanics of his everyday life.
