Imaginary Summer
2009, 90 minutes
Eleven-year-old Jimmy is sent to live with his Grandparents, on the island of Jersey, after his mother’s attempted suicide. His Grandparents didn’t know he existed, and his Grandfather doesn’t want anything to do with him, but is forced to look after him when his Grandmother goes away. Life looks better in summer.... until this new found happiness is threatened by secrets from the past, dating back to the German Occupation of the island.
