The film was scripted by David Baddiel the comedian. I was offered a role as a Hasidic Jew because of my Jewish looks! It was explained to me that they could only afford a fee of £18! However, I did as an existential exercise. Nevertheless during filming I was given a short speaking part. For this I was never paid. A bit sneaky if you ask me. However, the film is about a foul mouthed Londoner who is also a Muslim but in name only. Through a sequence of events he discovers that he is in fact a Jew and was adopted by his supposed parents! From three the plot unfolds with hilarious results. A British comedy in tre British Comedy Tradition. Miranda Hart plays the local government official.
