Impact of abortion on childhood sweethearts
James is the story of a relationship that falls apart after an unwanted abortion. James and Joanna were childhood sweethearts, but, when Joanna falls pregnant her Catholic parents pile on the pressure. The story is told through James's first meeting with his psychiatrist, John Park. As we get to know James he reveals an angry side that comes through at the climax of the film. Events take a turn that was not expected as we see the confession James has been building to.
