Comedy about a gang of hopeless theives.

A hapless gang pull off the job of a lifetime, with the theft of a huge example of ambergris - "floating gold" - worth a fortune to the right people. Only trouble is they are about to run out of fuel and luck. They find themselves pulling into a remote and run down petrol station. Things take a turn for the worse when they find out that the garage is also out of fuel and, for reasons beyond their control, the gang reluctantly find themselves taking the grouchy and eccentric owner of the garage and his meddlesome friends hostage. Their problems start to pile up: their unhinged crime lord, Shane, is demanding a showdown; their driver is critically ill; one of the gang wants to exact revenge on their hostages and another gang member is falling head over heels with one of their captives. Phil, the gang leader has a growing pile of problems. He needs to come up with a new plan to finish the job and get away; little does he realise that the answer could just lie with the hostages themselves!
