Last Love is a short romantic drama about Roberto, a passionate Italian shoemaker living in England for many years with a broken heart, who meets Livia, a Deaf woman also from Italy. Taking a liking to Livia, Roberto decides to break his own rule of not working on women’s shoes and repair Livia’s damaged heel. Will she, in return, mend his broken heart? This charming and unusual love story attempts to draw attention to deafness and mutism in contemporary society, as well as the struggle to integrate for those not born in the United Kingdom.
