A young man has a difficulty of letting go

A young man is very attached to his pet that suddenly dies. Unable to cope with the loss of the pet, he continues to spend time with it as if nothing had happened. The girlfriend, not being able to put up with it any longer, decides to leave the relationship. However, the boyfriend will not let her go either, and ends up killing her to keep her with him.
