Camp survivor Kemal revisits his village to find that after twenty years the war is far from over.

What is is it like to live amongst murders? Concentration camp survivor Kemal Pervanic and finds that his family are still haunted by the events of twenty years before. Every day is battle with their memories as they live in the midst of the very same neighbours who participated in the murder and expulsion of their friends and family. Can there ever be any reconciliation while their neighbours are in denial.
