Lily is a surreal drama about a woman, Jasmine, who lives in the shadow of a deeply buried history.
Jasmine is an office lady who lives in the shadow of a deeply buried history. The journey to unlock her secret starts when she notices a clown who sells balloons in the park next to the office where she works. One evening she passes one left-over balloon to a little girl and the day after she is offered another one from the clown. Later Jasmine comes across a mysterious girl in a launderette and gets to know her as a foster child drifting from one family to another. They keep having rendezvous in the same launderette while they start to build up a “mother-daughter” like bond. One day the girl drops a clown glove which leads Jasmine to doubt her identity. As she wanders the street, she walks into a theatre mentioned by the girl before, where the truth will be finally revealed…
