Lo stato delle cose / The state of things

The petroleum, as much as i knew it, ran out 20 years ago.

Nowadays we are surrounded by a madness which involves the entire humanity and it will soon exhausted the resources of our planet. The unassailable faith of men in the economic system leaves less room to the real meaning of humanity experiences which are linked to emotions and feelings. It is able to undermines the human consciences that is now fully contaminated by the logic of society development and it determines a direction where it is almost impossible to find an exit. "The state of things" tells about the story of the escape (perhaps even more insane?) from that established way in which there is a need to restore our values and to find a better solution to the crisis of our madness consciences. The story starts from when the petrol has been totally consumed and the main protagonist steps in and out the reality escaping from his dreams.
