A young woman discovers abnormal powers through emotional distress
Distraught from her recent breakup with her abusive boyfriend, Linda Raines drives from her office in the city, to her home, an isolated house in the woods. As she wearily pulls up to the house, she notices a car already in her spot; in fact the same exact car that she is driving, similar in every way, down to the small scratch underneath her door handle. Upon entering the house, Linda finds many items in the kitchen displaced. Frightened, she flees, but only a short distance down the road she stops in pure terror. Later, she wakes up at home, with only a vague memory of what she has just experienced. Linda calls Paul, her boss, for comfort. He comes over and makes her feel at ease. Confident that everything is back to normal, Linda heads to the grocery store to grab dinner. When she returns, she finds Paul missing and Michael, her ex, in the house. Michael holds her hostage and is on the verge of killing her when suddenly a car drives up. He drags her to the basement, to avoid detection. As she lies scared, she hears a voice from upstairs, her voice. This is the moment Linda remembers her strange experience and realizes that she is upstairs, that she is the stranger in the house. Will she be able to save herself before she flees in terror again?
