October is based on the true story of Olga Romanova. Olga was a 26-year-old woman whom on October 24th 2002, put her life at risk by confronting 41 Chechen terrorist at the Dubrovka Theatre in Moscow, in order to help more than 900 people who were held hostage at the auditorium.
