Young boy gets bullied for his Magic Trading Cards
Max is a a young boy, into his Magic Trading card. He is beaten up by bigger lads, and it is witnessed by his friend Zoey and her Dad. Max ultimately triumphs. OMG MTG provides an accurate reflection of prepubescent rivalries. Focussing on the little known subculture of competitive table top card games OMG MTG is a story about overcoming adversity, and standing tall during the most dire of circumstances. Set within west London (specifically Hounslow, Brentford and Richmond) OMG MTG provides an accurate account of suburban life in recent times. Environments populated with real characters, not merely two dimensional archetypes but fleshed out people whose behaviours and interactions remain true to the place and time it is set.
