Paul (Willem Dafoe), an American composer, and Daniel (Andrés Almeida), a Mexican documentary filmmaker, meet in Real de Catorce. Their unexpected encounter brings them face to face with supernatural phenomena which seem to unearth a past buried in the desolation of the desert.
