An ambitious split screen thriller
“Ouroboros” is a split-screen short film which takes place whilst London, and specifically its financial institutions, are trapped in the throes of terrorist attacks. The top half of the screen focuses on a Bomb Disposal Technician seemingly disarming a bomb, whilst in the bottom half the woman we assume to be his wife gives birth in the cafeteria of the financial institution where she works; her only aid is a nervous workman - a man who could in some way be responsible for the attacks that have shook the capital. The two halves are intertwined, contrasting and complimenting each other in character, plot, themes and visual style – each will aid us in taking our audience on a journey that twists and turns.
