A dual-heritage family unit is tarnished by cultural barriers and domestic violence.

Increasingly frustrated by the cultural differences that impact so greatly upon their relationship and the subsequent failed attempts to overcome their lives, Levi and Ella have spiralled into a cycle of torment and domestic violence, witnessed only by their teenaged, dual-heritage child, Junior. Inadvertently absorbed and manipulated by his environment, Junior will eventually sacrifice the close relationship he shares with his Father, in order to save his Mother from both mental and physical injury.
