Mia longs to be a writer but is feeling demotivated by rejections and annoyed that her mother is insisting she spends time with her elderly Granddad at weekends. Mia quickly forms a close bond with her Granddad who encourages Mia to keep going, to follow her dreams. Concluding in a bitter sweet ending of gaining dreams and losing loved ones.
