A man coming to terms with the loss of his wife orders a robot duplicate of her.

A man struggling to come to terms with the death of his wife works with a doctor to obtain a brand new synthetic humanoid double of his wife. But when she arrives, he finds that she is not what he really wanted or needed. The android then starts to have an unwelcome influence on his life.
