A depressed writer is interviewd
A journalist interviews a novelist at his home. When her questions get too personal he attacks her profession and soon a verbal sparring match begins. He criticizes her for focusing so much on other people while having no interesting qualities herself but she turns it back on him and points out that his 'interesting' life is actually pretty pathetic. Eventually the authenticity of his lifestyle comes into question and the question of whose life is more desirable becomes harder to answer.
