Biopic of Ian Dury Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll is an upcoming 2009 biopic of Ian Dury, starring Andy Serkis in the role of the punk legend. The film follows the rise to fame of Ian Dury and the Blockheads and documents Dury's personal battle with the debilitating disease polio. The effect that his disease and his lifestyle has upon his relationships is also a focal point of the film.[1] The title of the film is derived from the classic 1977 hit, "Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll".
