“I want Simon dead.” “I suppose you’ll want mate’s rates.” Elizabeth has never wanted for anything; if she wants something done, it gets done. She’s about to do the most abhorrent thing she can possibly imagine: ask her sister for help. Her sister, Charley, has certain skills that Elizabeth needs to take advantage of. She kills people, on a strictly freelance basis. Elizabeth wants to take a hit out on her husband, Simon: a man she finds so boring that death seems the only way out. As much as Charley would like to refuse a contract from her big sister, work has been a bit thin on the ground lately. So begrudgingly, the sisters get re-acquainted, at least professionally. Charley throws herself into the job with great enthusiasm; even managing to shift the hangover she’s been nursing for the past 18 months. Elizabeth, as always, gets out of the way and lets someone else do her dirty work. It should all be very simple: a quick, clean job. But an unexpected burglary and a badly timed phone call send the situation spiraling out of control…
