Amelia Vincent has survived the Second World War but now lives an old and lonely life. However, a young RAF pilot enters her life, once again filling her with youth and vigour as they begin to fall in love with each other. Despite Amelias new found happiness, what interest does a young man have in a woman 50 years his senior, and can she ever break free of the past?
