A young American girl comes for a holiday to the UK to meet her British boyfriend, but is surprised to find that she feels that Britain is dreary and boring, and that people are judging her harshly. She embarks upon a voyage of self discovery and acceptance in this comedy-musical where she eventually finds her voice. Along the way she meets like minded-people in the city of Birmingham, who accept and appreciate the power of freedom of speech and emotion, of being who you truly are, without a care in the world about what other people think of you. This story unveils the history of Jazz, through song and dance.
