Justin returns home to stay with Uncle before he leaves for the US, but life heres works slight different to what he is used to
Justin, a newly graduated Scottish human rights lawyer from London, is about to transfer to Washington DC on the career move of a lifetime, to Amnesty International on Capital Hill. While waiting on his visa, he decides to spend a few weeks visiting his family in Scotland, lost to him since childhood. These few weeks in Edinburgh, of Scottish nostalgia he figures, should be short, sweet and above all simple. But… Uncle Rab runs a sauna/brothel called the Paradise, and there’s ‘trouble at the mill’. A regular ‘sauna’ client who enjoys a regular spanking by Senga the S&M specialist, has just scammed his mum - Justin's doddering Nana - out of her house. Rab thinks he might be about to do a ‘Lord Lucan’ and flee the country, rather than pay what he owes. Therefore, Rab enlists Jimmy, his business partner-come-thug-come conman, who in turn enlists Stallone, a steroid abusing body builder with no brain to measure. The chase is on… Justin, wanting to see right done by his Nan, is persuaded to help out at the Paradise Sauna, so that Rab has his hands free to sort out the mess with the house. Being a handsome, nice and more ‘innocent’ young man, he soon becomes a favorite with the girls, showing them more empathy than lust, and is a source of their amusement in his discovery of the brothel life. Meanwhile, Rab’s chip on-the-shoulder sauna manager Leo is dealing coke to the girls, and forcing freebies upon them, all under the radar. Rab, if he finds out, will go mad, not wanting drugs on the premises. And Leo knows it. Leo, insecure, jealous and vindictive, soon plots against Justin to silence him when he stumbles across his dealing and mistreatment of the girls. The girls of the 'Paradise Sauna,' meanwhile, laugh, suffer and work while these sagas play out. The large angry men of the steroid gym 'The Gym' just pump iron, and shave their testicles in the sink to make their extremities look bigger against their no neck physiques. Rab's acid-casualty driver, Curry Tom, hides in Pizza Hut doorways, talks to walls and eats curry four times a day. Justin thus, is pulled deeper and deeper into his own moral turmoil, rationalizing each bad action as being done for all the right reasons, either within the sauna or in the hunt for Lord Lucan. And his choices have now become stark. Stand up for what’s right and risk DC, or close his eyes and pretend it’s not happening. The clock ticks. Whatever happens, someone at the Paradise is going to receive a damn good spanking…
