An Elderly widow goes on a perilous journey into council estate Britain.

Mary an elderly widow living in sheltered housing is compelled to leave the confines and comfort of her home to seek out Dean, a troubled teenager who fails to attend his weekly visit. On discovering the reason behind Dean's absence Mary (Margaret John) must decide whether to go back to the comfort of her bungalow or venture further into council estate Britain. In this world where youth rules she must use all her wits and cunning to survive. Spirited is an intimate character drama. It will intrigue, surprise and amuse an audience, then delight them with an upbeat, life-affirming ending.
