On the Eve of his brother’s funeral, an old man remembers a day they spent together.
On a Sunday morning, 21 year-old twins George and Ben leave the house, telling their family they’re going to a birthday party. In fact, they travel by car to the seaside town of Hastings where George has arranged to meet a man he’s met online. Though Ben has agreed to come along in case things go wrong, he is clearly uncomfortable with the idea. As they drive, George sits in the passenger’s seat making the odd feeble attempt at conversation, and drinking in an attempt to steady his nerves. Arriving in the run-down seaside town, they head along the promenade to the place where George has arranged for the meeting to take place – a public toilet.
