A house in the rural Deep South of the 1920s is inhabited by a family of sinister characters. Jimmy is banished to the shed after his mother Isabelle catches him wearing her clothes. She enlists the help of her evil sister Maggie May and voodoo doctor Eugene in trying to rid him of the what they believe is the Devil, while his Grandma, Uncle Rae, and sisters Maggie and Mary-Anne try their best to help.
