Our story begins with two separate worlds - the Assyrian world and the Cushite/Egyptian world - that collides in the conquest of the 25th Dynasty ushering in Assyrian rule of Egypt. The plot follows the personal stories of King Taharqa of Egypt and King Esarhaddon of Assyria.
