A self destructive inmate of a phsychiatric hospital is transferred at the moment he begins ti understand himself.
Struggling against a fundamentally benign regime in an institution Andy self destructs. When he proves a threat to other patients he is transferred - ironically just at the moment he realises the nature of his condition.
