In a city where ignorance is promoted, an idealistic member of the city’s censorship council fights to enlighten the people.
In a world where religion is used to promote ignorance there exists a government-run censorship council. One of its members is the young and idealistic Alyosha, who has written a subversive, atheistic book in the hopes of enlightening the people and easing the anxiety of his wife, Sabina, who is tormented by her religious doubt.
