Is Jack's past starting to catch up with him?

The Convict tells the story of Jack , an ex-con and his continuing struggles to cope with the crime he has committed and Amy a friend of his who tries to help Jack as much as she can. Jack Sherman is a man recently out of prison who continues to find it difficult to fit back into society and forget his negative past. As the Film progresses, so does Jack's paranoia as he slowly begins to see and hear things. He is convinced that someone is out there watching his every move. Amy tries to help and convince him that all of this is in his head. Is Jack's past starting to catch up with him? Is there really someone out there watching his every move? Or is all of this in his head?
