The Envelope

Julia comes home to find a mysterious envelope warning her of her new boyfriend's violent past.

Julia has always been superstitious, so a surprise envelope only raises her paranoia. In the envelope is a picture of her sister, who had disappeared while away at college, with a man. Though the incident remained a mystery, Julia and her family had always suspected the sister's college boyfriend. When Julia notices that the man in the picture has the same tattoo as her boyfriend, she realizes she must defend herself. The ending suggests that Julia will suffer the same fate as her sister.
