The First Days of Spring

The First Days of Spring

2009, 45 minutes

Visual accompaniment to the album of the same title by 'Noah and the Whale'

Charlie Fink of the band Noah and The Whale's debut film. A delicate and moving story about the loss of a first love and the inability to truly love like that again. 'The First Days Of Spring' is the second album from Britishfour piece Noah And The Whale. Recorded by Emery Dobyns (Patti Smith, Antony & The Johnsons) the album sees the band opt for a slightly more melancholic sound than the summery feel of their debut. From the six plus minutes of the opening track through to the album's closer, the band have refined and built upon their critically acclaimed mix of folk and indie pop.
