Thom Stukely is an ambitious archaeologist at the peak of his career. Audrey Wheeler - a retired professor - has seen it all before. When he comes to stay at her Dartmoor cottage to study standing stones he finds more questions than answers, becoming caught up in a complex web of relationships, and utimately drawn towards a discovery quite different from anything he could have expected.
