michael gallagher gets thrown out of his care home for hiding drugs after unsucsessfuly trying to track down his aunt he ends up sleeping rough on the streets were he sees veronika mannik being abused by her boss he saves her life by killing him they run from pc jessica warren who inturn wittneses her higher ranking officer thomas involved in corruption with local eastern european mob boss kristian michael decides to accompany veronika to the estonian embassey in london jessica decides to inform her boss inspector burgees of the days events he questions thomas but ultimatley belives his version of thomas events instead of jessicas kristain follows michael and veronika to the station but they manage to escape him by just catching the train
