Regency romantic drama with a twist

The Scandalous Four is a comedy-drama set in the early 1800s. Penelope is forced to marry Jonathan but there is no love between the two. As a matter of fact; Jonathan is more interested in spending time with the butler than his wife. Penelope finds a way of reuniting with the love of her life and manages to hire him as the gardener. Two secret affairs in one household soon leads to major scandalous situations. A film about marrying for status and the consequences of this. The story has been developed by director Christianne van Wijk and dialogue is devised by the actors in Mike Leigh style. Production company Art of Life Films is producing.
